Censorship Gone Too Far- Afghan Detainee Torture Docs.

Thank the heavens Canucks everywhere weren't actually holding their breath....

One year and millions of taxpayer's dollars later, the Harper government revealed yesterday that they were unable to find any indication that Canadian soldiers knowingly put Afghan prisoners into a torturous trap.

Well, maybe they couldn't find any "proof" because the 4,000 page document (out of about 400,000 pages) was covered in black ink...any real information was concealed.

Is censorship still a huge issue? Absolutely.

What can we do about it? Write our MPP's and urge them to bring these matters to Parliament Hill.

Don't Forget Japan!

I know there's been many interesting global events since the devastating earthquake in Japan two months ago (hello Federal elections and The Royal Wedding)...but that doesn't mean that it's time to move on and forget that the country is still in need of international aid.
